Teen Dies In Crash Near Seminole State College, Troopers Say

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- A 17-year-old girl was killed and three others were injured Monday in a crash near the Sanford-Lake Mary campus of Seminole State College, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at about noon at the intersection of Campus Lane and Broadmoor Drive.

Cletus O'Brien, 20, was driving east on Campus Lane when he struck a curb, according to troopers. The 4-door Infiniti overturned, ejecting Hannah Davila, who was sitting in the passenger's seat. The Winter Springs was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital, where she later died. According to the FHP report, Davila was not wearing a seat belt.

O'Brien and two other passengers, Fidel Senquis and Michael King Jr, both 18, had minor injuries, troopers say. 

The crash remains under investigation. Troopers say charges are pending.
