One Injured After Car Overturns On Lake Murray Boulevard, Police Say

IRMO, S.C. — A two-car crash on Lake Murray Boulevard in Irmo left one person with injuries Tuesday afternoon.

Irmo police say a car overturned on Lake Murray Boulevard in the direction of the dam. The driver of that car has been transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Another car was also involved in the crash, but police say none of those passengers were injured.

Lake Murray Boulevard was temporarily closed due to the crash, but is now open in both directions.

An investigation into what caused the crash is currently underway
