Fort Worth Man Wanted In Killing Of 2 People Discovered In Burning Car Is Found Dead

The Cooke County Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday afternoon that it had found the body of 37-year-old Mandeep Singh.

Officers were called Sunday night to a rural part of Cooke County near the town of Muenster, about 15 miles west of Gainesville.

A caller reported that a silver Honda sedan was on fire in the middle of a road, according to the >Gainesville Daily Register.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and found the remains of two people in the back seat. Their names were not released.

Authorities believe the fire was intentionally set, and they said Singh was suspected in the slayings.
