1 Killed, 2 Hurt In Rollover Crash In Southwest Kansas

One person is dead after a rollover accident in southwest Wichita Saturday morning.

Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Austin Schneider said the incident took place around 1 a.m. near I-235 and West. A person witnessed the crash and called 911.

Schneider said a driver of a pickup truck veered left of the highway, over-corrected and left the roadway on the right; then, the vehicle rolled over multiple times. The truck came to a rest about 300 feet off the road. 

Ernesto Flores, of Wichita, was thrown from the truck. Flores, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle. No other people were hurt.
